LA TRICOLOR

LA TRICOLOR was one of two clubs from Colombia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup Cancun 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to LA TRICOLOR, 13 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof LA TRICOLOR could be found in Group 3 together with IPEFH, PIONEROS CANCUN 1 and Cefor Tuzos Cancún. LA TRICOLOR continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Venados FC with 0-3. In the Final, Valladolid Futbol Club Cancun won over INTERCUPS MX 2 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 16. LA TRICOLOR comes from MOSQUERA CUNDINAMARCA which lies approximately 2300 km from Cancun, where Gothia Cup Cancun takes place. Other than LA TRICOLOR, the club Racing Big Stars FC does also originate from the area around MOSQUERA CUNDINAMARCA.
