Cancún Calcio

Cancún Calcio was one of 24 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup Cancun 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Cancún Calcio, 11 other teams played in Boys 14. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Cancún Calcio could be found in Group 2 together with Braves fc, Juventus Academy Guatemala, Venados FC, ALTIUM ACADEMY and PIONEROS CANCUN 1. Cancún Calcio made it to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Juventus Academy Guatemala with 0-1. Thereby Cancún Calcio finished second in B14 Slutspel B during Gothia Cup Cancun 2023. Cancún Calcio comes from Can which lies approximately 3 km from Cancun, where Gothia Cup Cancun takes place. The area around Can does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup Cancun 2023 (Club Amigas Pioneras A 2007, Atlante FC, Cefor Tuzos Cancún, Valladolid Futbol Club Cancun, Pioneros F.C., PIONEROS CANCUN, Braves fc, VALLADOLID FC CANCÚN and Pioneras Femenil F.C).
