FC Union Canada

FC Union Canada was one of three clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup Cancun 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to FC Union Canada, 8 other teams from 3 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof FC Union Canada could be found in Group 1 together with Colorado Select, Atlante FC and Academia Fútbol Total 1. FC Union Canada made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against INTERCUPS MX, which they won with 6-5. Thereby FC Union Canada won the entire Slutspel A in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup Cancun 2024. FC Union Canada also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup Cancun 2023. They reached the Semi final in B16 Slutspel A, but lost it against Valladolid Futbol Club Cancun with 1-2. FC Union Canada comes from Montréal which lies approximately 3000 km from Cancun, where Gothia Cup Cancun takes place.
