Sporting NE FC

Sporting NE FC was one of 6 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup Cancun 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sporting NE FC, 15 other teams from 3 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Sporting NE FC could be found in Group 1 together with Jaguares Poktapok, Cervantes Bosque 1 and FC Napoli. Sporting NE FC continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Real 103 with 0-4. In the Final, Fútbol Consultants Edson Soto won over Academia Miguel Bravo and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 14. Sporting NE FC comes from Omaha which lies approximately 2400 km from Cancun, where Gothia Cup Cancun takes place.
