Calgary Villains FC

Calgary Villains FC was one of three clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup Cancun 2024. They participated with one team in Girls. In addition to Calgary Villains FC, 7 other teams played in Girls. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Calgary Villains FC could be found in Group 1 together with Pioneras Femenil F.C 1, Panteras MX and Playa FC. Calgary Villains FC made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Pachuca with 3-0. Thereby Calgary Villains FC finished second in G Slutspel B during Gothia Cup Cancun 2024. Calgary Villains FC comes from Calgary which lies approximately 4100 km from Cancun, where Gothia Cup Cancun takes place.
